The brachial lift or brachioplasty, is a cosmetic surgery used to remove excess skin of the arms making the arm look more firm. In some cases, if the patient has an excess of fat in the area, the surgeon may decide to combine the brachioplasty with liposuction of the arms and thus achieve better results. Patients who have lost weight, find brachial lifting the best option to remove the excess skin.

Procedure:

The procedure involves making an incision in the upper part and the inner arm. The shape and location of the incision varies depending on the amount of skin to be removed. Once the fat is suctioned out, the Surgeon will proceed to tighten the skin of the arm and remove the excess skin from the top.

Scar:

The incision will be closed with stitches and the scar will be in the least visible place of the arm and will fade through the years.
